On 14 June 1911, RMS Olympic had made her maiden voyage. On 20 September the same year, Olympic was on the way to her 5th voyage. When Olympic was on the route she hit a British Warship HMS Hawke (1891). As a result of the collision, Olympic had two big holes on the lower side.

Some crews of the Titanic (Olympic) had resigned. And some of the passengers from the first-class including J. P. Morgan suddenly canceled their journey which added more suspense.
On 10th April 1912, the Titanic left Southampton for making her way to New York. The owners knew that the ship was going to sink. For that, they were also planned for rescuing the passengers with J. P. Morgan’s cargo ship SS Californian. That ship was stuck at the port of London because of a coal strike. But the ship suddenly and mysteriously left the port for sailing to America.
